Carlo Petrini awards Magister Porcarius , May 4th, 2009
During the Canadian Slow Food Movement at the Ancaster Old Mill on May 3rd, 2009, Carlo Petrini, the founder of the World Slow Food Movement, awarded Fred de Martines of Perth Pork Products Ltd, the distinction of Magister Porcarius.
During the same event, the Tamworth pig was inducted into the Canadian Slow Food Movement's Ark of Taste.
